Your body was designed for optimal health and wants to take care of you. Conventional wisdom would have you believe that you have little control over your aging, genetic information, and predisposition for health and body fat. While it's true, we can't change our eye color, height or natural personality traits, we can alter our environment and reprogram our gene expression to render natural predispositions to health problems and excess body fat virtually irrelevant.

The truth is, we have been fed a lie that a low fat, high carb, highly processed, allergen ridden diet is healthy, and cutting calories and increasing exercise is the key to losing weight. But eating and exercising according to the Standard American Diet ("SAD") only creates a viscous cycle of hunger, carb cravings, insulin resistance, fat storage, self deprivation, chronic systemic inflammation, fatigue, depression, premature aging and illness.  No wonder so many Americans are overweight, sick and exhausted.

Understanding how much influence you have over your health, fitness and well being is empowering! Primal living is the most effective, simple, energizing, easily sustained way I've found to lose weight, gain strength, and recharge.

The Primal diet and lifestyle is nothing new, and it is not a fad. It is literally how we were created to eat, move and live. The problem came with Man himself.  The advent of commercialized agriculture, the Industrial Revolution and extreme technological progress came at a severe cost to our health.  Hectic, modern life has accelerated the decline in health due to a lifestyle shift of consuming heavily processed, chemically altered foods, high stress, lack of sleep, and less natural, daily activity. 

Primal living takes us back to our roots; where daily living naturally supported a healthy life.  This lifestyle promotes sustainable health by eating highly satiating, nutrient dense foods  -  meat, fish, healthy fats, eggs, vegetables, fruit, nuts, and seeds, avoiding modern, processed foods, frequent low level movement, lifting heavy things, waking and sleeping with the sun, playtime, intellectual stimulation, and enjoying the benefits of vitamin D through sunlight on our skin.

By implementing effective tools that empower your body to function efficiently, you can attain lasting change. You can reprogram your genes to prefer stored fat over sugar for fuel.  You can experience the difference between cravings and true hunger and become a fat burning beast who burns stored body fat day and night.
