The truth is, we have been fed a lie that a low fat, high carb, highly processed, allergen ridden diet is healthy, and cutting calories and increasing exercise is the key to losing weight. But eating and exercising according to the Standard American Diet ("SAD") only creates a viscous cycle of hunger, carb cravings, insulin resistance, fat storage, self deprivation, chronic systemic inflammation, fatigue, depression, premature aging and illness. No wonder so many Americans are overweight, sick and exhausted.
